Man arrested for alleged murder of Riverside County woman A Riverside County man was arrested for the alleged murder of a woman found dead inside her home.The suspect, Paul Galindo, 57, is accused of being involved in the death of Brandi Galindo, 40, according to the Riverside County Sheriff.On April 7, deputies responded to a home in the 42000 block of Faith Drive in East Hemet. When officers arrived, they found Brandi “suffering from traumatic injuries to her upper torso,” officials said.The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and at the time, no suspects were present, authorities said.“Based on witness statements, the incident was determined to be a domestic violence-related homicide” and Paul was identified as the suspect, according to arrest documents.Authorities located Paul on April 8 and during his arrest, he was shot before being taken into custody. Man accidentally killed by dump truck in Southeast DC, police say A man was killed in Southeast D.C. when a dump truck accidentally backed over him early Friday morning.At approximately 5:41 a.m., a dump truck was dropping off an empty dumpster and picking up a full dumpster in an alley in the 1800 block of Q Street, according to D.C. police.When the truck reversed, police said it struck 27-year-old Joshua Richmond, of no fixed address, who was lying in the middle of the alley.Richmond was determined by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services to be dead and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.Police are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information about the incident to call (202) 727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411.More D.C.
