HOUSTON (AP) — Rookie Royce Lewis homered with four RBIs in his season debut and Ryan Jeffers hit a two-run shot in the 10th inning to give the Minnesota Twins a 7-5 win over the Houston Astros on Monday.Lewis returned exactly a year from the day he tore the ACL in his right knee for a second time when he crashed into an outfield wall while making a catch in his first appearance in center field. The first overall pick in the 2017 amateur draft had reconstructive surgery a few days later, ending his first major league season after just 12 games.It was the second time in two years that he sustained the same injury after tearing it for the first time in Feb. 2021. Chatfield State Park, Co. (KDVR) – Thousands of people were out Monday enjoying area lakes and reservoirs.Before the holiday, Colorado Parks and Wildlife sent out a warning to people, asking them to be safe and wear life jackets. Water levels at the reservoir have elevated because of recent rains.On Monday, Chatfield State Park was a hotspot and there was a long line of cars just to get into the park to enjoy Memorial Day. One sign warned people to watch for driftwood, moved around by high lake levels. SANTEE, Calif. -- Authorities are investigating after a 32-year-old incarcerated woman died at Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility, law enforcement said.Roselee Bartolacci was found unresponsive in her cell Monday around 12:30 a.m. during a housing unit check, Lt. Scott Roller with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department (SDSO) said in a news release Monday. She was the sole occupant of her cell, authorities confirmed.The detention facility's medical staff performed life-saving measures on Bartolacci, but she was later pronounced dead, per SDSO.
