Truck hauling home stopped on I-64 near I-270

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A truck hauling a modular home has come to a stop on Interstate 64 near Interstate 270, prompting some traffic delays Wednesday just before rush hour. MoDOT reports the truck is stopped in the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 in Town & Country city limits. Two westbound lanes are closed, leading to lengthy traffic delays. Check the radar -- Storms expected Wednesday No injuries have been reported in this incident. Authorities have not yet disclosed what led up to the truck being stopped on the highway. There is a large police presence with officers aiming to move the truck and home and clear the highway. This is a developing story. CRAWFORD COUNTY, Mo. - Two people died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon in Crawford County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. MSHP reports that Steven Cook, 60, and Sharon Cook, 59, of Bland, Missouri, died in the crash. Next of kin has been notified. The crash happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday near Missouri Highways CC and 19. Check the radar -- Storms expected Wednesday Investigators say Steven was driving the motorcycle with Sharon as a passenger, and both were heading southbound on Highway 19. At some point, a woman driving a Subaru Outback was preparing to cross Highway 19 to Highway CC. The Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday identified the woman they say assaulted a South Los Angeles taco vendor after refusing to pay for her food Sunday night.Renee Latrice Hines, 36, was the woman who went on a rampage against a worker at the taco stand at Grandee Avenue and 103rd Street in Watts at about 6:35 p.m., police said in a news release. According to police, Hines "punched and pepper sprayed the victim when the victim asked the suspect to pay for the tacos she had consumed." Three people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Long Beach earlier this summer.David Nevarez, 35, was shot multiple times and killed during a dispute on June 16, according to Long Beach police.During an investigation, Roland Barber, 40, was identified as a suspect in the killing. He had been arrested on June 29 in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred that day, police said.He was eventually charged in the killing of Nevarez and is being held on $3 million bail, according to Long Beach police.Last week, authorities arrested 35-year-old Maytte Barber and 59-year-old Edward Wayne Williams in connection with the incident.
