HOUSTON (KXAN) -- The gas station known for having clean amenities and beaver nuggets is expanding with a new feature for electric vehicles, according to a news release from Buc-ee's.Buc-ee's is partnering with Mercedes-Benz HPC North America to launch a network of premium charging stations for electric vehicles at the majority of Buc-ee's travel centers across the country. Already breaking ground on some locations, Mercedes-Benz HPC NA plans to open the key markets by the end of the year and a total of 31 hubs by the end of 2024."Buc-ee's values people and partnerships," said Buc-ee's General Counsel Jeff Naldo in the release. The CFP committee placed the Missouri Tigers ninth among NCAA teams in their latest round of rankings on Tuesday. ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. - A Collinsville woman has been charged in connection with a man's overdose death earlier this year. A federal grand jury returned an indictment Wednesday, charging Tessa Webber, 25, with one count of distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death. According to court documents, the victim's roommate found him deceased around June 11 in Fairview Heights. Police began investigating and learned that the victim has a history of substance abuse. Messages indicated the victim bought drugs from Webber, including two fentanyl pulls on June 9. The man a Westminster police officer shot and killed Oct. 1 during a struggle at an apartment complex pulled out a gun while the officer was tasing him and appeared to point it at another man, newly released officer body-worn camera footage shows.Just before 8 p.m. Oct. 1, officers were called to the 1400 block of 116th Avenue about a man throwing things off a balcony and damaging cars in the parking lot, according to a news release from the Westminster Police Department.When the first officer, identified in the news release only as Officer Phelps, arrived, three apartment residents had a man pinned to the ground, and a fourth resident told the officer the man was screaming and hitting walls, the footage shows.The officer asked the man to lay down on his stomach with his hands out and began reaching for his Taser, then the footage shows the man reached into his pocket and grabbed a gun.The officer tased the man and yelled for him to drop the gun. The first part of the low-pressure system that has been churning off the California coast is making landfall on Southern California Wednesday, bringing with it some gusty winds and isolated thunderstorms. Disneyland has updated its Guest Pin Trading Etiquette policy in order to enhance visitors’ experience.“We regularly evaluate and adjust our policies and operations. Pin Trading is a fun, magical activity for our guests and these updated guidelines will create a designated location near Westward Ho Trading Company in Disneyland Park during specific times, which will enhance the overall guest experience at Disneyland Resort,” Disneyland officials told Scott Gustin, a member of the digital team at Nexstar Media Group Inc., the parent company of KTLA.The new rules limit how long pin trading can take place, the number of pins allowed in the resort and trading locations. ‘Beauty and the Beast’ attraction closing at Disney’s California Adventure Park Pin trading displays can now only be shown in the designated trading area near Westward Ho Trading Company at Disneyland.
