The Killers add First Avenue show the night before they headline Target Field Las Vegas rock band the Killers will play their most intimate metro show in nearly 20 years when they headline First Avenue on July 13, the day before the band’s local stadium debut at Target Field.Tickets are $95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Axs. While some say it's about time, others think it could be disastrous. Holly Soulder, 32, went missing Wednesday evening. Authorities say Soulder left home without her cell phone and might be dealing with a medical issue. RTD’s L-Line in Five Points will close for three weeks for track replacement work The Regional Transportation District’s L-Line train won’t operate for most of July to allow maintenance crews to repair a section of track along the Five Points light-rail spur.The L-Line won’t operate Sunday because of the monthly ¡Viva! Streets event, in which Broadway and Welton Street are closed to vehicle traffic to make room for bicyclists and pedestrians. And then a 21-day closure to allow for track maintenance begins Monday, RTD says, with the L-Line scheduled to reopen July 31.RTD recommends riders take the Route 43 bus, which travels parallel to the L-Line on California and Stout streets through part of Five Points.The L-Line, part of RTD’s first section of light-rail to open nearly 30 years ago, terminates at 30th and Downing streets on the north and travels south into Denver’s Central Business District, overlapping with the E and H lines on the downtown loop.
